Basic ancestral search

• Introductory Family Tree: £250
A perfect introductory package, focusing on a single couple – most often the client’s grandparents – and extending up to four generations if the client and their parents are also added.

Professional family tree creation

  • Traditional Family Tree: £999
    My most popular option, tracing one surname line back four generations with additional detail on siblings. Research typically reaches the late 1700s or early 1800s and includes records such as baptisms, marriages, burials, census returns, occupations, emigration, and maps, along with wider historical context.

In-depth historical research

Direct Ancestors Tree: £1,250
This in-depth option traces only your direct line: parents, four grandparents, and up to eight great-grandparents. As with the Traditional Tree, records may include baptisms, marriages, burials, census returns, occupations, schooling, maps, and wider historical context to bring your family’s story to life.

Extra ancestral lines can be added at the hourly rate of $40 per hour, following consultation.

Heir and probate genealogy

Specialized services for legal professionals requiring accurate and detailed heir identification and probate genealogy research.

  • $100.00+tax per hour, with a minimum of 3 hours charged.
  • Within the first 3 hours, we expect to determine the likelihood of success. If we have concerns about the feasibility of success, we notify the client before proceeding with further research. The average case takes between 5-15 hours to complete. 
  • For smaller estates valued at under $1,500.00, we offer a reduced flat rate of $175.00+hst, which includes up to 2 hours of research.

Can the process be halted at any point?

Yes, immediately on request. An accounting of costs to date will be given at that point.

Are there countries that you are unable to research?

We have found none at this time. Many Eastern European countries had records destroyed during WWII, and some Eastern countries do not provide information in English or French, so they can be difficult, but not impossible.
